Sick and Freelancing: What Should You Do
I have been sick this past week. All. Week.
On better days, I could squeeze out 2–3 hours of work. Other days, it just wasn’t happening. Yet, I had deadlines. So many deadlines.
One drawback to freelancing is there are no paid sick days, no one to fill in for you, and HR (my dogs) just wants to crawl in bed and snuggle.
One of the fastest ways to tank a freelancing career is to ignore obligations if you get sick, or you need some time off for another reason.
